Jean-Baptiste Akra Akassou[1] (born November 5, 1985 in Côte d'Ivoire) is an Ivorian football player who currently plays for Budapest Honvéd FC
Akassou signed with Budapest Honved[2] on Friday 19 February 2010 after 2 weeks trials and "double Agent saga". He was said to have left for Budapest from Thailand with a new agent without informing his formal agent, Heritage Soccer Agency. HSA had earlier sent akassou's video and cv to Budapest honved. This initially compelled Budapest honved to wanting to cancel the deal, but for the Godly heart of the management of heritage soccer agency, that sent a fax to Budapest honved to permit the new agent to finish up the deal and allow Akassou play.[3]
Akassou signed for Budapest Honvéd FC in February 2010.[4] He previously played for Thailand Premier League side BEC Tero Sasana.
